The “KINUITO DAILY” 2024 Spring/Summer Collection from KINUITO Corporation has received the “Good Design Award 2024” sponsored by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion. Thank you to all of you who always use our products.
Reasons for Award
The judging committee evaluated the following points:
Design That Everyone Can Comfortably Wear
Silhouettes and pattern design that allow all people to wear in their own way, regardless of gender, age, or body type. Our design aiming for “not special clothes, but everyday clothes you want to wear every day” was evaluated as meeting the needs of the modern era that respects diversity.
Commitment to Materials
We realized lightweight comfort and excellent breathability through our original material combining recycled polyester and washi paper yarn. The balance of environmental consideration and functionality was highly evaluated.
Sustainable Manufacturing Process
Design philosophy considering the entire product lifecycle. Product creation considering ease of repair, universal design for long-term wear, and recycling after use was evaluated.

“It’s wonderful that while having sufficient functionality as daily wear, they are also seriously working on reducing environmental impact. Although they are not doing anything special, you can feel the gentleness of design that stays close to the wearer.”
Continuing as Daily Clothes
What we aim for is clothes that your hand naturally reaches for from the closet each morning. Casual, yet making you feel a little lighter. We will continue to deliver such clothes.
Taking this award as encouragement, we will continue creating clothes that are even more comfortable and can be cherished for even longer.
