KINUITO Corporation has received the “Sustainable Fashion Award 2023” sponsored by the Japan Sustainable Fashion Association. Our development of environmentally conscious products and production systems, as well as our efforts toward realizing a sustainable society, were highly evaluated. Reasons for Award
The judging committee evaluated the following points:
Development of Environmentally Conscious Products
We achieved a 42% recycled material usage rate and significantly reduced environmental impact without compromising quality. In particular, for our private brand “KINUITO DAILY,” we adopted recycled materials in 68% of all products, and were highly evaluated for achieving both “comfortable wear” and “kindness to the earth.”
Innovative Production System We achieved
an 85% solar power adoption rate and 60% water usage reduction. At our new Bangladesh factory, we supply 90% of electricity consumption with renewable energy, demonstrating our sincere commitment to CO2 reduction throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Collaboration Across the Entire Supply Chain
Our approach to working with partner companies from material manufacturers to sewing factories to reduce environmental impact was evaluated. We continue to invest in highly transparent information disclosure and improving the working environment for workers.

Our challenge has only just begun. We aim for a 70% recycled material usage rate in 2027 and will continue working on more environmentally friendly product creation.
