We have expanded from 18% in fiscal year 2021 to 2.3 times over three years, and are progressing smoothly toward achieving 70% in fiscal year 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4baef1e3a41985341acb8e8820487493\" style=\"color:#2b5e2c\">Main Initiatives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Active Utilization of Recycled Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recycled polyester from PET bottles: Usage rate 38% (up 12 points YoY)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recycled fibers from collected garments: Usage rate 28% (up 8 points YoY)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recycled nylon (including ocean plastic-derived): Usage rate 15% (up 5 points YoY)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organic cotton: Usage rate 19% (up 3 points YoY)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Advanced Implementation in Private Brand &#8220;KINUITO DAILY&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 2024 Autumn\/Winter Collection, recycled materials were adopted in 68% of all items. We have completed the transition to 100% recycled polyester especially for our popular basic T-shirt and hoodie lines. Quality and comfort have been achieved at levels equal to or better than conventional products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Collaboration Across the Entire Supply Chain<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are working with 15 material manufacturers and 8 dyeing and processing partners to ensure stable procurement and quality improvement of recycled materials. We have optimized our proprietary &#8220;SUMI dyeing&#8221; technology for recycled fibers, achieving both beautiful color development and resistance to fading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4343f6513167cc9bea7c28cf3e95cccc\" style=\"color:#2b5e2c\">Environmental Impact Reduction Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Through the transition to recycled materials, we achieved the following environmental impact reductions in fiscal year 2024:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CO2 emissions: Approximately 1,850 tons reduced annually (equivalent to absorption by approximately 130,000 cedar trees)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water usage: Approximately 420,000 m\u00b3 reduced annually (equivalent to approximately 840 25-meter pools)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Petroleum-derived raw materials: Approximately 620 tons reduced annually<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c200a5a596688cc50f06a83940446b29\" style=\"color:#2b5e2c\">Future Roadmap<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fiscal Year 2025 Target: 52% Recycled Material Usage Rate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Achieve 75% for all private brand products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achieve 45% for OEM\/ODM products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fiscal Year 2027 Target: 70% Recycled Material Usage Rate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An important milestone toward achieving carbon neutrality in 2030<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aiming to become an industry-leading environmentally conscious company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We will continue to pursue both beautiful clothing production and protecting our beautiful planet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KINUITO Corporation announces that the recycled material usage rate across all products reached 42% in fiscal  [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","news_category":[74],"class_list":["post-384","news","type-news","status-publish","hentry","news_category-press-release-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
