CEO Message

Nagi Takatou

President & CEO

Nagi Takatou

Thank you for visiting the KINUITO Co., Ltd. website. I am Nagi Takatou, President and CEO.

In 2019, I succeeded the business from my father, founder Kohei Takatou. Leveraging my experience studying textile design at an art university in Paris, I am leading KINUITO to the next stage based on three pillars: “Japanese traditional craftsmanship,” “contemporary design sensibility,” and “sustainability.”

Our goal is “enriching people’s lives through clothing.” And simultaneously, “protecting the global environment and leaving beautiful nature for the next generation.” These two are never contradictory. Rather, I believe achieving both is the mission required of modern companies.

With our brand “KINUITO DAILY,” we propose clothing that everyone can wear comfortably regardless of gender or age. With keywords “want to wear every day” and “can use for a long time,” we are particular about all aspects of design, materials, and sewing.

In our OEM/ODM business, we shape partner companies’ visions with our technology. Whether small lots or large lots, we sincerely respond to all requests and value creating the best products together.

Regarding sustainability, we have set a target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and developed a specific roadmap. We are promoting expanded renewable energy use, optimized logistics, and offset measures.

The happiness of our employees is also an important theme. At all domestic and international locations, we promise fair wages, safe working environments, and growth opportunities. Without happy people, good products cannot be born.

Clothing has the power to transform people. On days when wearing favorite clothes, confidence arises and positivity emerges. Everyone has such experiences, don’t they?

We at KINUITO want to deliver “the joy of wearing” to people around the world by putting heart into each garment. And we want to leave a beautiful earth for the next generation. With this vision, we will continue our challenges.

We ask for your continued support of KINUITO.
